Pizza catering

Mobile Pizza Catering in London

Alessandro Romanelli, Naples-trained with ten years at the oven, runs the oven at every booking, from garden parties to weddings.

The whole pizzeria, in tow

The whole working pizzeria travels to you: the ovens, dough stretched and fired in front of your guests, nothing pre-cooked. Chef, crew and clearaway come as one booking on a flat 3x3m footprint that carries its own fuel outdoors, so driveways, marquees and fields all work.

Thirty guests in a garden or four hundred at a festival, the rig scales either way. Our guide to pizzas per person has the maths, alongside the rest of our planning guides.

Wedding pizza catering

Weddings keep their own clock: timings bend to your day. We set up about an hour before guests arrive. Pizza starts after the last toast; held back for later, the same service feeds the dance floor.

One shared rate for every event, quoted by headcount. See what it costs.

Corporate pizza catering

Corporate bookings live or die on admin, so ours is ready before procurement asks. One named supplier covers food, service and optional music, invoiced at exactly the figure we quote.

Office lunches, summer socials, product launches and Christmas parties all run from the same rig.

Private parties and birthdays

The rig fits through a standard side gate and sets up on a patio, driveway or lawn. Private party catering in London runs the same way for anniversaries, christenings and engagement parties.

Milestone birthdays are where live fire earns its keep: birthday pizza catering builds the food into the afternoon, with guests gathered around the oven while service runs. A pizza party works the same way for a housewarming or a graduation. For younger guests a short hands-on session runs before service, so they eat and stay entertained in one move. The longer version is its own event: the pizza masterclass.

The masterclass

When the brief is engagement, guests stretch and top their own pizzas with the chef, then eat what they made. It runs from £75 per person on a £600 minimum group charge, for team away-days, hen parties and milestone birthdays.

Say so when you enquire and we will build the masterclass into the running order.

A live DJ

Pizza catering with a live DJ is one booking from one supplier: an in-house DJ with a mixed floor-filler set, plus PA, event lighting and a microphone for the speeches. Food only is a complete booking.

The set bends to the room, house, Afrobeats, disco or garage; pricing sits in what it costs.

Where we cover

Everything runs from one London base. Travel is included across Greater London, Kent and South East Essex.

Outdoors the rig needs no mains power, so distance is drive time, not mileage: Kent is about twenty minutes over the Dartford Crossing, Essex the A13 and A127 north of it, Surrey and South Hertfordshire routine runs, North Sussex the honest edge. Send a postcode and we will confirm we reach it.

What it costs

Two service styles, priced plainly: Classic Buffet from £15 a head, Full Service from £18, each carrying an £800 minimum spend. Travel inside our core area is included, and the number in your quote is the number you pay.

Classic Buffet is Neapolitan pizzas with the classic toppings and a two-hour live service. Full Service adds an extended gourmet menu. The minimum applies until your per-head total clears it.

The live DJ starts from £450 for two hours and runs to around £1,200 for a full day. For the fuller breakdown across guest counts, read our pizza catering cost guide.

Frequently asked questions

Do you do pizza catering near me?
Almost certainly. We cover Greater London, plus Kent, Essex, Surrey, Hertfordshire and Sussex; the areas we cover section lists drive times and the towns we visit most often.
What size of event suits mobile pizza catering?
A thirty-guest garden lunch works, and so does a four-hundred-guest festival day, with the ovens keeping roughly forty pizzas an hour moving throughout. If you are planning a wedding specifically, see wedding pizza catering for how we time service around the day.
Can you cook indoors?
Yes, on an electric oven we bring in for the booking, which is the only kind that can cook in a room. It needs a mains socket at the venue, so indoor bookings are not power-free the way outdoor ones are. A gas or wood-fired oven can only go outdoors, or in a well-ventilated covered space; outdoors we fire gas as standard and can bring in a wood-fired oven if you want one. Send a photo of the space and we will confirm the setup before you book.
Do you cater for vegan and vegetarian guests?
Yes, vegan and vegetarian pizzas are on the menu as standard, built pizza by pizza alongside the rest of the order.
Do you cater for gluten-free diets?
We can build a pizza without gluten-containing ingredients on request. The same ovens fire wheat-flour pizzas all night, so we cannot guarantee zero cross-contamination, and it is not suitable for coeliac disease or a severe gluten intolerance.
Can you work with halal requirements?
Tell us your halal requirements at booking and we will give you an honest, specific answer. The Margherita and Marinara carry no meat, and we can leave pork off the van entirely on request.
How does booking work?
Send your date, postcode and rough headcount through the quote form, WhatsApp, or a call to 07796 233274. We hold the date once you agree the quote, and we ask for at least 14 days between booking and event so prep is never rushed.
Do you cater for daytime events like office lunches or christenings?
Yes. Office lunches, christenings, brunch receptions and school or community events get exactly the same oven and the same chef an evening party does, run at a faster, lighter pace suited to a working lunch. For office and corporate bookings, see corporate pizza catering.
Is the live DJ compulsory, or can I book pizza only?
Food alone is a complete booking on its own. The DJ is an optional add-on for events that want a dance floor or a longer night, never a requirement, and it is quoted separately from the pizza package.
What paperwork can you provide for our venue or procurement team?
Itemised quotes, invoices and purchase orders as standard, plus proof of public liability insurance and a fire risk assessment for building management on request. The figure we quote is the figure invoiced.
