How Much Does Pizza Catering Cost in London? (2026 Guide)
Straight answer first: mobile pizza catering in London runs from £15-£18 per head with an £800 minimum spend. Here is exactly what drives the price and how to budget your event.
The short answer: £15-£18 per head
In 2026, mobile pizza catering in London typically costs from £15-£18 per head with an £800 minimum spend. Our Classic Buffet starts at £15/head; Full Service starts at £18/head. So a 100-guest party works out at roughly £1,800. We keep our minimum deliberately low to build our customer base, most competitors set theirs far higher and hide the figure entirely. For our current package prices, see the pizza catering costs.
What you actually get for that price
Restaurant-quality pizza cooked live at your venue as part of our pizza catering, not pre-cooked and delivered. Our ovens turn out up to 40 pizzas an hour for up to 400 guests. The chef is Naples-trained with 10+ years' experience. Outdoors we need no mains power and fit a 3x3m footprint; indoor service runs on an electric oven we bring in, and needs a socket at the venue. A hired wood-fired or electric oven is confirmed in your written quote rather than sprung on you later; our wood-fired vs gas comparison explains what actually decides quality.
What affects the final cost
Guest count is the biggest lever, more guests means more spend, though per-head cost holds steady. Your package choice matters: Classic Buffet (from £15) versus Full Service (from £18). Adding our live in-house DJ ranges from £450 for two hours up to around £1,200 for a full day. Distance can play a part too, we're based in London, check your postcode against our areas we cover, and serve Kent and South East Essex most easily (Dartford Crossing is ~20 minutes away).
Worked example: 100 guests
For 100 guests on the Classic Buffet at £15/head, you're looking at roughly £1,500. Step up to Full Service at £18/head and it's about £1,800. Want music too? Add a DJ from £450. Everything is quoted upfront, no surprise service charges. Vegan and vegetarian are included as standard at no extra cost; other dietary needs get an honest answer, see our dietary FAQ.
How to budget your event
Start with your guest count, then multiply by £15-£18 depending on package. If your headcount is low, remember the £800 minimum spend applies; it stops mattering at around 54 guests on the Classic Buffet. Add a DJ if you want music and pizza in one booking. Book at least 14 days ahead, that's our minimum lead time. We carry public liability insurance and are working towards Level 5 hygiene rating, so venues are happy to have us.
Why our pricing is different
Slice 'N Vibe combines a Naples-trained chef, a live in-house DJ and pizza masterclasses in one booking. Unlike competitors who hide their rates, we publish ours, and every pizza is cooked fresh and live at your venue rather than delivered pre-cooked.
