When Should You Book Pizza Catering? A Seasonal Guide

The short answer: 14 days is our minimum, but the dates that matter most, summer Saturdays, December parties, wedding season, get booked months ahead. Here's when to lock in by event type.

The short answer: at least 14 days, ideally much more

Our minimum lead time is 14 days, enough to plan your menu, dietary needs and logistics. But minimum isn't the same as ideal. Popular dates fill early, and because we're a single team cooking on site, we take a limited number of bookings per day. For anything date-critical, the safe rule is book as soon as your date is fixed.

Weddings: 6-12 months ahead

Wedding caterers get booked a long way out. If pizza is your wedding catering, main, evening feast or late-night bite, aim to secure us 6 to 12 months ahead, especially for a summer Saturday or a popular country venue around Kent and Essex. Couples often book their date with us before some other suppliers, because a self-contained caterer that works dry-hire and marquee venues is in demand.

Summer parties and festivals: by March

Garden parties, milestone birthdays and summer corporate events cluster into June, July and August, and the Saturdays go first. To get your pick of summer dates, enquire by March. Leave it to May or June and you're competing for the last few weekends. Weekday and Sunday events are easier to land at shorter notice.

Corporate and Christmas: September to December

Corporate demand ramps from September as teams plan autumn launches, away-days and Christmas parties. December books up fastest of all, the best party dates can be gone by October. If you're organising a work do, get your date in early; we invoice and take purchase orders, so you can secure it before the wider budget is finalised.
